Awesome! Thanks again! :D It all seems easier to plan once everything starts to come together haha
no problemo! are you by any chance going to the ohio comic con? just wondering. i will prob be @ that one. ;)
Well, it's not uploaded for mine yet but there's a schedule already uploaded for the Philadelphia convention. wizardworld(.)com/stlewishcand(.)html
yeah! it will probably be the same if not similar. :)
Hi :) Con Anon here. I was just checking out the website and noticed the Action! (Programming) tab for my convention. Is that where the schedule for all the panels and all that stuff will be?
Hey you! Which con is it? I’ll take a looksee.
lol Same here - I'm a major planner when it comes to stuff like this. I like to know what I'm doing before I do anything, so I will probably end up pestering you when my con gets closer :)
No biggie, Anon! Here to help! I went alone with my 3 yr old to meet Norm and Sean 2.5 hrs away, so I needed to find out as much info as possible and it was a successful trip! But just holler ;)
This is a lot to take in lol Thanks so much for your help!
I like to find out as much info as possible. I’m an investigator at times. Haha but no problem, lemme know if you need help prior or finding stuff out. :)
Does that go for panels as well?
The panels are arranged by the con. So, the con at some point will *probably* have a schedule listed on their webpage.
Like I said, the closer the date of the convention, the more likely their site will update with times and days of panels. At the convention, you will have to find out what rooms the panel you’re looking for is unless they post it on the site along with the day and time of the panel you want to attend. :)
This is my first year going to a convention for Norm. I don't really know how it all works. They email you your tickets, right? And when you're there, where do you get the schedules of all the panels and photo ops and stuff?
I was emailed my ticket. When I arrived, I had to go to will-call to actually get in. Once there, they let you in and you can wander around!
Now.. in regards to schedules/photo ops, check the conventions website for the times. The photo ops are usually outsourced and aren’t done by the actual convention planners themselves. The schedules for the panels/contests/etc may not be on their site right away. The closer to the date of the con, more than likely you will find the schedules for the days on there. If you can’t find anything, try to go on the con’s website, and look for a “contact us” link. Any ?s I can’t find answers to, I start sending emails if nothing can be found on their fb/twitter/actual website. If I send an email, I usually send it to the artist/celeb coordinator, or customer relations rep (so I can see if their answers match.)
In regards to photo ops, since they’re outsourced, you may have to go to the conventions website. Look for any links that say photo ops or something of that nature. It will prob send you to the photo op companies webpage. You’ll have to search for the con you’re attending, then there should be a list of celebs you can get photos with. Their schedule (times of the photos) may or may not be posted depending on how far away the con is. The closer the date, the more likely the schedule will be up. I would def purchase the photo op tickets online in advance. I lucked out and was there early enough to buy a ticket on site. But they sell out quickly!
Hope this helps! :D ♥
